The “Circle of the Word” is a learning space created by Pawanka Fund to facilitate knowledge exchange among Indigenous communities from different regions.
The program offers online courses on topics related to Indigenous knowledge, community practices, and cultural learning processes. These courses are designed to be accessible and open to participants from different backgrounds.
The initiative encourages dialogue, the exchange of experiences, and collaborative learning among participants.
Participants who register will receive a notification when new courses begin. At the end of each course, participants receive a certificate of participation.

El “Círculo de la Palabra” es un espacio innovador y colaborativo creado por Pawanka Fund, dedicado al intercambio de conocimientos entre los pueblos indígenas de todo el mundo. Funciona como una escuela inclusiva y accesible, ofreciendo cursos gratuitos sobre temas de gran relevancia para todo el ecosistema indígena. Este espacio no solo fomenta el aprendizaje y la transmisión de saberes ancestrales, sino que también promueve la inteligencia colectiva y el Buen Vivir.
La inteligencia colectiva permite que las comunidades indígenas unan sus conocimientos y experiencias para generar soluciones más efectivas y sostenibles frente a los desafíos que enfrentan. El concepto de Buen Vivir, fundamental en muchas culturas indígenas, está integrado en los cursos del “Círculo de la Palabra” para fortalecer la armonía con la naturaleza, la cohesión comunitaria y el bienestar integral.
De esta manera, el “Círculo de la Palabra” no solo potencia las capacidades individuales y comunitarias, sino que también contribuye a la preservación y revitalización de la identidad cultural de los pueblos indígenas.

Every story carries a world. Learn how to make yours travel further.
For generations, Indigenous Peoples have shared knowledge, memory, identity, and ways of understanding the world through stories. Stories connect generations, protect culture, strengthen communities, and help others understand why Indigenous voices and perspectives matter.
El The Circle of the word invites you to explore Storytelling for Indigenous Peoples: a course designed to strengthen the way Indigenous stories are created, shaped, and shared — while keeping their roots, meaning, and identity alive.
Throughout the course, you will explore:
How to turn experiences, memories, and knowledge into powerful stories
How to find your voice and build narratives that connect with different audiences
How storytelling can strengthen identity, preserve knowledge, and amplify Indigenous voices
How to adapt your stories to different formats, from written narratives to audiovisual and digital platforms
Because telling a story is more than communicating. It is a way of keeping memory alive, strengthening identity, and making Indigenous voices heard.

METHODOLOGY

3. In the modules you will find information and guides for practical exercises.
4. Share your progress and knowledge in the closed body on Facebook with the course participants.
