Chuukese Traditional Medicine and Healing Practices: Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child care, and COVID-19 Related Symptoms

Chuuk Women’s Council (CWC) To document and revitalize traditional medicine and healing practices for reproductive health, child care and COVID19 related symptoms, practices of prevention. Families will start to manage gardens of traditional medicinal plants learning about health benefits of each plant. Will built 25 family gardens.

Promoting Traditional knowledge of food Preservation -Temotu Traditional Food (Nambo) – Threats and opportunities

Network for the Indigenous Peoples Solomon (NIPS) To document intergenerational transmission of traditional knowledge about preservation methods for food security.
