Local Partner: Sumo-Mayagna Government
The Government of the Mayangna Nation is responding to the greatest concern of the communities and territories in the defense, protection and conservation of the natural resources. The project focus on contributing to the strengthening of collective mechanisms for the organization and sustainable community management of the territory and its natural resources for self-development. The proposal includes the establishment of a radio station communication system with coverage to all territories, improvement of Mayangna Intercultural Bilingual education and traditional ancestral medicine.
