The Digital Editions of Vicky Tauli-Corpuz: A Path Toward Justice for Indigenous Peoples Are Now Available in English and Spanish

Pawanka Fund and the International Indigenous Women’s Forum (FIMI) are pleased to announce that the digital editions of Vicky Tauli-Corpuz: A Path Toward Justice for Indigenous Peoples are now available in both English and Spanish.

The printed edition of the book was officially launched on 17 April 2026 at New York University during the closing ceremony of the International Seminar on Strengthening the Human Rights and Political Leadership of Indigenous Women. The event brought together participants, allies, and representatives committed to advancing the rights of Indigenous Peoples and strengthening the leadership of Indigenous Women, in the framework of the 25th Session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII).

The book launch celebrated the remarkable journey, leadership, and lifelong commitment of Vicky Tauli-Corpuz to advancing the rights of Indigenous Peoples around the world. Throughout the event, participants reflected on the importance of her legacy and on the need to carry this work forward through new generations of Indigenous women leaders.

Held as part of the closing activities of the Indigenous Women of the World course at New York University, the launch also reaffirmed the importance of intergenerational knowledge sharing and leadership development—one of the most enduring lessons inspired by Vicky Tauli-Corpuz’s life and work.
