INNABUYOG. INC (Innabuyog Alliance of Indigenous Women’s Organizations in the Cordillera, Philippines)
The proposal aims to contribute in strengthening disempowered women’s organizations in the Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines, as a result of State policies and programs that infringe on human rights and are direct threats to land rights and food security through organizational strengthening by developing the institutional capacity of Innabuyog, the regional alliance of grassroots women’s organizations in the region.
The General Program of Action of Innabuyog for 2025-2027 have been developed. The Executive Council of each provincial chapter of Innabuyog have been restructured and strengthened. At least 3 (three) activities of each of the programs of Innabuyog have been effectively carried out. Systematized documentation of learnings and good practices of indigenous women and their communities that addresses the climate of fear as a result of repressive state policies and programs violative of human rights and are direct threats to land rights and food security. Two (2) leaders from each provincial chapter of Innabuyog have been motivated/inspired to lead the implementation of their chapter’s plan of action.
