The School of Mountain Vagabond
Due to political events, all projects related to the promotion of traditional knowledge and the creation of conditions for the protection of sacred territories in the Altai Republic, which is in fact the only region in Russia that promotes the idea of an “ecosystem of sacred landscapes”, have been cancelled. These sites have now become vulnerable to abuse and degradation. This initiative aims to develop tools and strategies for their protection.
To protect, preserve, and maintain cultural heritage and sacred sites whose initial work and results funded by Pawanka Funds are at risk of being destroyed because of no follow-up and support due to decreased funding and support for this region.
