The ultimate goal of this project is to publicize the IP food system in 2 communities (Krio and Iban Sebaruk) as part of a promotion and campaign to protect the remaining biodiversity; recognition of indigenous peoples for one community (Ransa). This project will be carried out in 3 communities spread across 3 districts in West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia.

1. The Krio Community has a published profile book on the Krio Community Food System. 2. The Sebaruk Iban Community has a published profile book of the Sebaruk Iban Community Food System. There are 25 indigenous women from the Ransa community who are directly involved in the process of pushing for the recognition of Indigenous Peoples at the Melawi District Government level.
