Two initiatives based on language lessons e.g., Bislama (one of the national languages of Vanuatu) through language booklets printed and pay a language teacher to present the lessons.
Creation of a cultural program with Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia peoples who can conduct information sessions on traditional cooking, basket weaving and cultural protocols. All oriented to youth and intergenerational transmission of ancestral knowledge.
Ultimate goal is to forge a cultural connection for younger generation with their Australian South Sea Islander culture and heritage through language and traditional island dishes and food.
