Revitalization and transmission of traditional knowledge to combat extinction and dormancy

Indigenous Information Network (IIN)

The revitalization of indigenous knowledge and transmission from the older generation to the young while trying to combat possible extinction and dormancy through the revitalization of vernacular languages learning and relating to Land and productive resources (environmental conservation, food systems, health, culture, and education) as important heritage of different communities to be involved Maasai, Samburu, Rendille, Waata, and Pokot.

The different communities will be aware of the loss of language and cultures and have learned and developed mechanisms to mainstream, transmit, and preserve traditional knowledge and encourage intergenerational knowledge sharing.
The communities will develop materials to revitalize indigenous knowledge and gain knowledge on different policies, legal instruments, and networks.
