NAGKAKAISANG MGA TRIBU NG PALAWAN (NATRIPAL) INC.
The proposed initiative is an assessment and rehabilitation of damaged forest cover within the ancestral domain of Batak Tribe in Nanabu, Caramay, Roxas, Palawan due to typhoon Odette. The aim is to determine the areal extent and degree of damage to forest cover; identification of affected individual IPs and households; capacity development on participatory damage assessment on forest cover, watershed-based approach of protecting forest cover, nursery establishment, and forest cover rehabilitation; establishment of forest nurseries and rehabilitation of damaged forest cover; and formulation of ADSDPP and renewal of Almaciga concession permit of the Batak tribe’s ancestral domain.
