HUI HO’OLEIMALUO
A series of a week ling learning to build Hawaiian language and cultural practitioners through significant places sites and Hawaiian knowledge hands-on experiences for students from East Hawaii, in grade K-12. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to cultivate the next generation of ʻāina and community kiaʻi (care takers)
There is a growing interest for highly motivated high-school students to participate in these programs as interns rather than students. There is a lot of potential for some participants to act as student leads in the programs.
