Local Partner: Corporación Cultural Ecológica Mujer Tejer y Saberes – MUTESA.

La Chorreada, Colombia is a border territory with Peru. This region is being affected in different ways by the massive contagion of COVID-19. The advance of the virus is leaving collective after-effects and is creating a spiritual, territorial and human imbalance.

The proposed contingency plan is to monitor 22 communities and their 3,600 inhabitants. Surveys were conducted on the diagnosis of the contagion and the effects of the disease. Purchase of food supplies to guarantee the feeding of families affected by COVID-19. Promotion of the use of traditional medicine and support for supplies from traditional doctors in the communities.

They will collaborate together for the realization of the implementation of the project.
