LOCAL PARTNER: Community organization for development and preservation of alas culture “Knot” (Urdaakh) in Megino-Kangalassky Ulus (Sakha-Yakutiya)
The Russian states of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya) and the Republic of Altai are very similar in their original traditions and historical features. We would like to work to strengthen these ties and respect between these Republics. The Ancestors’ Heritage project promises to expand community interest in history, culture, and the challenges of preserving historical monuments and ecological culture.
