Cooperative “Bayalag Sutain Khugjil”
The initiative’s goal is to revitalise the culture of respect for local food and the practice of Arvai sowing, growing, harvesting, and eating as an integral part of a healthy and prosperous life in the mountainous communities of Western Mongolia and beyond.
The intrinsic connection between people and the landscape is enhanced. The value of the golden interweave of human nature is better understood and internalised by younger community members through exposure and access to ancient wisdom, legends, and stories. Local communities will be provided with healthy crop products produced by traditional methods based on spiritual rituals.
