The goal of our initiative is to prevent Beowulf Mining PLC and its swedish subsidiary Jokkmokk Iron Mines from opening an iron ore mine and the swedish company BDX from opening limestone quarry in Samii land. Get to courts to invalidate the concession permit for kallak and the reject to BDX application.
Expected outcomes: The primary goal is to get the courts to invalidate the concession permit for Kallak, and the government to reject BDXs application to open a limestone quarry in Noarvejaure. The second goal is to get as strict regulations as possible for the mining and quarry operations.
