Kivulini Trust
This initiative aims aims to avert hunger and malnutrition through improvement of food security. This will be achieved through local food production using the waters of the Ewaso Ng’iro river to irrigate community group owned small farms. Masks and modified bucket with tap will be distributed for sanitization use. In addition, a bar of soap will be issued to each group members to sanitize their hands on a regular basis.
Trainings provided new information and imparted new skills among the participating groups. Communities became fully aware of the nature of Covid-19, the way the virus spreads, symptoms of the disease and how to stay safe.
